AI chip leader NVIDIA's CEO, Jensen Huang, announced the new RTX Spark platform during his keynote at GTC Taipei, expanding the company's footprint in the personal computer market. Qualcomm responded by saying, 'Welcome to the party.' Huang noted that through deep optimization with Microsoft, RTX Spark will be able to run all Windows applications. Future PCs will integrate autonomous agents and large language models running on-device. The first batch of laptop partners includes Acer and Gigabyte, with products expected to launch this autumn. During a Qualcomm media session, when asked about NVIDIA's entry into the PC market, Qualcomm stated they welcome the competition.
