Pneumatic component manufacturer AirTAC International announced on the 2nd that its consolidated revenue for May reached NT$3.909 billion, a 40.39% increase year-on-year, marking a record high for the month. Cumulative revenue for the first five months of the year reached NT$18.265 billion, up 27.3% year-on-year. The company explained that despite fewer working days due to the May Day holiday in China, revenue and orders hit record highs for the period, benefiting from an upward cycle in market demand and new product development. Orders in May continued to exceed shipments, with strong demand from the battery, machine tool, and textile machinery industries. Despite fluctuations in raw material costs due to geopolitical factors, the company has raised overseas sales prices and improved production efficiency, leading to expectations of continued growth in operating margins for the second quarter. With China's '15th Five-Year Plan' emphasizing smart manufacturing, the company remains optimistic about the pneumatic industry's demand for the year.
