Monica Kristie, a recent graduate of the Department of Information Management at Kun Shan University, successfully completed her degree while working part-time and receiving multiple scholarships from the Overseas Community Affairs Council. After an internship, she was hired by the company and hopes to establish her roots in Taiwan. Originally from Jakarta, Indonesia, Monica previously studied in China before returning home due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Attracted by Taiwan's living and learning environment, she chose to pursue her degree here. To cover tuition, she worked various part-time jobs, including at ramen and hot pot restaurants, while also serving as a student assistant. She managed her time effectively and maintained top academic performance, earning several prestigious scholarships. Beyond academics, she participated in promoting Indonesian culture in Tainan. During her senior year, she interned in the HR department, where her performance led to a full-time offer. She encourages other international students to believe in themselves and embrace challenges.
