NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang held a global media Q&A session today, appearing alongside MediaTek CEO Rick Tsai to discuss their collaborative Arm-based 'N1X' chip. Huang revealed that the name 'N1X' comes from a smaller version called 'N1,' and that NVIDIA is already planning 'N2X' and 'N3X,' stating, 'We will be expanding this architecture for a long time.' The N1X is designed for personal AI agents and will be featured in RTX Spark series Windows PCs. Huang praised MediaTek's engineering as world-class, noting that hundreds of engineers from both companies have been working on the project for nearly two years. Additionally, NVIDIA is working with Microsoft to ensure the SoC has the best Windows and x86 compatibility of any chip ever built.
