KMT Finalizes Sandimen Township Mayoral Candidate: Traffic Police Chief Hsieh Chih-hung Selected

Hsieh Chih-hung, Chief of the Traffic Police Corps of the Pingtung County Police Bureau, emerged as the candidate. Hsieh stated he would focus on building local consensus and working for the development of Sandimen. The party branch noted that the four potential candidates agreed to a 'mutual voting' method, with Hsieh receiving the most support. The 54-year-old Hsieh has 31 years of police experience and has applied for retirement to enter the race. The party will fully support his campaign to address local needs. Former Township Mayor Cemelesai Laregean has also expressed his intent to run.
