Jensen Huang on Samsung Wage Dispute: 'Employees Should Be Paid as Much as Possible'

Following Samsung's recent resolution of a labor dispute involving a new profit-sharing and performance incentive system, NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang addressed the topic during a media Q&A in Taipei on June 2. While stating he is not an expert on labor relations, Huang remarked that from a business perspective, "people should be paid as much as possible." He joked, "Just ask my employees, I really do that," emphasizing that he has always paid his staff as highly as possible. However, he noted that this is his personal approach and not necessarily the only correct answer. Huang attended a partner event in Taipei the previous evening and mentioned he would be visiting South Korea with his family this week to thank his partners.
