Central News Agency, Taipei, June 2. The internationally renowned aviation review website AirlineRatings.com awarded EVA Air its highest safety rating, '7-Star PLUS,' today, highlighting the airline's world-class capabilities and professionalism in flight safety management.

AirlineRatings.com is an internationally recognized aviation rating agency that has been conducting 'World's Safest Airlines' evaluations since 2013. Using its unique seven-star rating system, it evaluates the safety performance of nearly 400 airlines globally. EVA Air has received this honor for 13 consecutive years.

In a press release issued today, EVA Air stated that the advanced '7-Star PLUS' rating is an upgrade from the existing seven-star safety rating. It is primarily based on anonymous flight audits conducted by the AirlineRatings.com team, which reflect the actual passenger experience and confirm consistent, excellent performance across all indicators.

Sharon Petersen, CEO of AirlineRatings.com, stated that EVA Air demonstrated extremely high standards throughout the audit, particularly in pre-flight procedures and safety checks, making it one of the most rigorous airlines currently observed.

Petersen added that EVA Air has maintained an excellent, long-term accident-free record and enjoys a high reputation in the industry. The audit results once again demonstrate EVA Air's position as one of the safest airlines in the world.

EVA Air President Clay Sun stated that safety is the most important and non-negotiable core value of the airline. By embedding the concept of safety into the DNA of every employee, the team is committed to providing the highest level of safety for every passenger who chooses EVA Air.

Sun noted that receiving the '7-Star PLUS' rating is a recognition of the entire professional team. He pledged that the airline will continue to invest 100% effort into creating safer and more comfortable journeys for passengers.

In addition to the '7-Star PLUS' honor, EVA Air was ranked 8th in the 'Top 10 Safest Airlines in the World' by AirlineRatings.com and has been awarded the '5-Star Airline' certification by SKYTRAX for 11 consecutive years.
