Delta Electronics unveiled its prefabricated AI modular data center today at COMPUTEX Taipei. Chairman Cheng Ping stated that the rapid pace of AI development has created an urgent need for high-efficiency, high-density data centers, and the new solution can reduce construction time by approximately 60%. Cheng emphasized that Delta is shifting from being a power equipment provider to becoming a provider of efficient, low-carbon microgrid solutions. To address the massive power demands of AI data centers, Delta showcased solutions including solid-state transformers (SST) and solid oxide fuel cells (SOFC). The company also introduced a full range of solutions, including 20-foot containerized AI data centers and in-room AI modular data centers (AI MDC), to help enterprises deploy computing power as quickly as possible.
