IC substrate giant Nan Ya PCB announced its self-consolidated May revenue of NT$4.44 billion on the afternoon of the 3rd, a slight decrease of 0.24% from the previous month but a 35.82% increase compared to the same period in 2025, marking the second-highest for the period. Cumulative self-consolidated revenue for the first five months of the year reached NT$20.068 billion, a 34.52% increase year-on-year, also a record second-highest for the period. Nan Ya previously assessed that its revenue and profit targets for the second half of the year would grow quarter by quarter. Currently, the share of revenue from artificial intelligence (AI) applications has exceeded 50%. Looking ahead to this year, Nan Ya stated that its business operations are in good shape, with capital expenditure focused on developing new processes and improving existing ones, utilizing group resources to plan new production lines in existing and other factory areas. Semiconductor test interface provider Chunghwa Precision Test also announced its self-consolidated May revenue of NT$542 million on the 3rd, a 3.69% increase month-on-month and a 34.09% increase year-on-year, setting a new all-time monthly high. Cumulative self-consolidated revenue for the first five months of the year was NT$2.423 billion, a 23.7% increase year-on-year. Looking ahead to the second quarter, Chunghwa Precision Test stated that it is benefiting from the continued rise in global demand for AI applications, and its overall operational momentum for the second quarter is expected to maintain a growth trajectory. Regarding the outlook for this year, Chunghwa Precision Test pointed out that global demand for application-specific integrated circuits (ASICs) and AI chips, among other high-performance computing (HPC) applications, is robust, driving the continued expansion of the semiconductor test interface market. Chunghwa Precision Test continues to receive orders from major AI chip companies and expects its revenue to grow month by month this year.
