VERA Releases New Song with Harder Choreography; Member Babi Goes Solo, Group Cries Together

Due to the increased difficulty of the choreography, members cried while practicing. Member Babi has gone solo, and fellow member Xuewen revealed that Babi communicated with them before leaving the group, and they all cried together, indicating no ill feelings.

VERA's new lineup consists of Nelson, Mengwei, Cai Zhen, Xuewen, and Landi. Member Babi announced a suspension of his entertainment activities last August due to personal reasons and debuted as a solo artist this April.

The members stated today that Babi discussed his departure with the group beforehand but ultimately decided to leave due to personal reasons. They cried together at a private gathering and remain in contact. Babi complimented VERA's new song, saying it sounds good.

When asked about solo aspirations, Xuewen laughed and said, "Who doesn't want to go solo?" but quickly emphasized that this would be within the context of the group not disbanding, as the team has discussed members having their own solo songs. Xuewen also shared that he once considered leaving the group due to missing home and worrying about his aging parents, but other members joked that Malaysian member Nelson lives even farther away. Nelson laughed and replied, "I consider the members my family."

VERA said in an interview today that the new song "Kill Me with Your Tenderness" is their first attempt at a rock style, aiming to surprise fans. "It's a song with a suffocating feeling because the dance is very intense, and the singing parts are also difficult."
