Taiwan High Speed Rail Adds Surf Water Park, Animal School to Domestic Travel Ticket

Taiwan High Speed Rail (THSRC) announced on Wednesday that it has added several new attractions, including Xinlang International Surf Water Park and Yesen Animal School, to its domestic travel ticket (National Travel Ticket) this year. It has also partnered with FamiTicket, an online ticketing platform, allowing passengers to add discounted THSR tickets when purchasing tickets for sports events, exhibitions, performances, and other activities. With the summer vacation approaching, THSRC issued a press release today announcing the launch of the "Summer Power Plan START" project in collaboration with multiple partners. This initiative aims to expand the services of its domestic travel ticket and hotel ticket, offering passengers more diverse travel options. THSRC stated that in addition to existing partner platforms, the new FamiTicket channel will be added this year. The company also noted that it has recently added several popular attractions, including the "Xinlang International Surf Water Park" near THSR Chiayi Station, which offers a water recreation experience combining artificial waves and skateboarding surfing; the "Yesen Animal School" in Kaohsiung, which provides rich animal interaction experiences; and the "Kaohsiung Suzuka Circuit Park." These additions aim to provide travelers with more diverse choices for summer outings. Furthermore, THSRC announced summer promotions, with over a hundred hotels across Taiwan offering early bird benefits such as discounted room rates, room upgrades, and late checkout.
