LG Group to Adopt 10,000 NVIDIA GPUs

South Korea's Maeil Business Newspaper reported on Thursday, citing an unnamed industry source, that LG Group will adopt 10,000 NVIDIA graphics processing units (GPUs). According to the report, the GPUs are expected to be used for AI model training at LG Group's AI research center and for humanoid robots being developed by LG Electronics. An LG Group spokesperson said they could not confirm the report. Separately, Yonhap News Agency reported that NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang will depart for South Korea on the afternoon of June 5 for a four-day visit. On the first day of his visit, he is expected to meet with major South Korean business leaders, including SK Group Chairman Chey Tae-won, Hyundai Motor Group Chairman Euisun Chung, LG Group Chairman Koo Kwang-mo, and NAVER founder Lee Hae-jin, to discuss cooperation. Additionally, according to industry sources, NC Corp CEO Kim Taek-jin is expected to meet with Huang on June 7.
