June TAIEX Futures Fall 563 Points

(Central News Agency, Taipei, June 4) The Taiwan stock market closed down 781.7 points today at 45,677.46 points. June TAIEX futures closed at 46,294 points, down 563 points, showing a premium of 616.54 points over the spot index.

The Taiwan Futures Exchange set the opening reference prices for the next two months' index futures contracts at 46,857 points for June futures and 46,902 points for July futures.

The Taiwan stock market closed down 781.7 points at 45,677.46 points today, with a trading volume of NT$1.238814 trillion.

June TAIEX futures closed at 46,294 points, down 563 points, with a volume of 59,472 contracts. July futures closed at 46,356 points, down 546 points, with a volume of 674 contracts. The actual closing prices are subject to the announcement by the futures exchange. 1150604
