The Department of Education stated that the forum's theme was 'AI Education Blueprint,' focusing on teachers' AI capabilities and the main axis of AI and SEL (Social-Emotional Learning).
According to a press release, UK education expert Laura Knight analyzed learning transformation in the AI era from an international perspective. Japanese education scholar Hideki Suzuki shared how to cultivate students' ability to move from finding answers to developing the ability to ask questions through question design.
Additionally, Huang Kaize, Deputy Director of Product Planning Management (PDM) for the Communications Network Business Group at Realtek Semiconductor Corp., analyzed the cross-domain integration and independent thinking skills required for future industry talent. Chen Yiwen, Chief Operating Officer of the Junyi Academy Foundation, shared practical experience in digital learning and AI-assisted teaching.
The afternoon session, 'AI Education Innovation Practice Seminar,' featured frontline educators sharing application results. The Shuangxi High School team presented the 'Campus Kinship Diagram Automation System,' which uses AI technology to help teachers quickly organize family history data, significantly improving administrative efficiency and demonstrating the practical effectiveness of AI in reducing administrative workload and supporting teaching.
Department of Education Director Zhang Mingwen stated that the development of AI and the introduction of technological tools represent a crucial opportunity for systematic transformation in education. In the AI era, it is necessary to strengthen students' thinking, communication, and emotional skills. The Department of Education will incorporate SEL into curriculum development and teacher support systems to help students effectively use AI for exploration, expression, thinking, interpersonal interaction, and character development.
