The two companies said in a statement today that Intel's wafer fabs will adopt Hitachi's 'HMAX Energy' artificial intelligence (AI) service. Intel plans to supply high-voltage chips to assist Hitachi's power systems. Additionally, Intel announced a strategic collaboration with Foxconn. Intel CEO Lip-Bu Tan said that the collaboration with Foxconn brings together expertise in chip design, rack-level solutions, and global system integration.
