Trump Storms Out of NBC Interview After Being Grilled on Election Fraud Claims

(Washington, June 7, Comprehensive Foreign Report) U.S. President Donald Trump, during an interview with an NBC program, patiently answered sharp questions about a potential war with Iran and endured disruptions from thunderstorms, but he stormed out in anger when the host questioned his remarks about election fraud.

According to AFP, before getting up and leaving, Trump told 'Meet the Press' host Kristen Welker, 'You are a biased, dishonest network. Sorry, let's just end it here, because I've had enough. Thank you, dear. Have a good time.' The interview was broadcast today.

Trump delivered a speech to local farmers at a farm in Wisconsin on the 5th and was interviewed by NBC there. The interview was interrupted several times due to weather and audio issues as heavy rain pounded on the roof.

During the interview, Trump once asked, 'Is that the wind or what?' He then added, 'Do you hear that sound? The thunder, the lightning, and the rain.'

Welker asked the technicians if the interview should be paused. The president replied, 'No, people will understand. We are on a farm.'

After Welker asked questions about Iran and nuclear weapons, Trump criticized her as 'a big liberal, a big progressive.' Welker retorted, 'No, I'm just a journalist.'

Tensions rose when the topic shifted to Trump's proposal for taxpayers to compensate victims he believes were prosecuted for partisan reasons during former President Joe Biden's tenure.

Trump noted, 'I don't know what will happen with this 'weaponization fund.' But I like the idea, because people like you, the hypocritical, dirty media, the dishonest media, and people like stupid Biden... they destroy people. They send people who have done nothing wrong to prison.'

Welker said, 'There is no evidence for what you are saying.'

Trump again brought up the 'rigged' election fraud theory from the 2020 election, adding that last week's primary in California was the same.

Welker asked Trump to provide evidence.

Trump then told Welker, 'You are either dishonest or stupid,' and walked out of the frame. Although Welker tried to get him to stay, Trump left angrily.

Welker told viewers today that she had spoken with Trump yesterday about the weather disruptions during the last interview, and he had agreed to be interviewed by her again.
