(Central News Agency, reporter Zhong Rongfeng, Taipei, June 9) Sanyang Motor is actively expanding in the European market, recently holding an international media test ride event in Italy. Sanyang Motor Chairman Wu Ching-yuan estimates that SYM brand's export target for this year is to challenge 10% growth. The gradual introduction of new products in the European market is expected to boost overseas sales momentum and expand its global market presence.

Sanyang issued a press release today stating that it recently launched two strategic models in Sardinia, Italy: the premium cruiser TTLBT and the all-around sport tourer Cruisym 400, aggressively targeting the European mid-to-large scooter and premium touring market.

Sanyang explained that in recent years, the European two-wheeler market has been moving towards 'larger, touring-oriented, and premium' development. The SYM brand continues to strengthen its product lineup and technological features to enhance brand competitiveness.

SYM Overseas Business Department Manager Liu Ru-cheng stated that the test ride event was held on the Emerald Coast of Sardinia. The test ride route was a total of 100 kilometers, covering both mountain and coastal roads. Professional two-wheeler media from over ten countries, including Italy, France, Spain, Greece, Germany, Hungary, Portugal, Belgium, the Netherlands, Luxembourg, Israel, and Romania, were invited to participate.

Sanyang pointed out that Italy is one of the important two-wheeler markets in Europe. The active participation of the local dealer network this time shows the local market's attention to SYM's new generation of models. (Editor: Chang Li-chih) 1150609
