(CNA, Taipei, by reporter Wang Hsin-yu, June 9) The 37th Golden Melody Awards ceremony is breaking with tradition by inviting boy band Ozone to serve as Award Presenting Ambassadors. The music for the awards ceremony and red carpet will be co-produced by Starr Chen, Cheng Jen-hao, and Lu Lo, with Hakka king singer Huang Tzu-hsuan, Dai Xiao-jun, Li Chu-hsin, and Lü Shih-hsuan providing voice-overs.
Regarding their role as Award Presenting Ambassadors, Ozone expressed their excitement to be the first to hold the title. They plan to uphold the spirit of "the honor of musicians will be guarded by Ozone" and share a moving evening with outstanding musicians.
The music for the ceremony and red carpet is helmed by top producer Starr Chen, who has brought on Cheng Jen-hao and renowned music producer Lu Lo to co-produce. They aim to create a brand-new auditory experience for this year's Golden Melody gala, raising expectations sky-high among music fans and audiences.
Huang Tzu-hsuan, who won both Best Hakka Singer and Best Hakka Album last year, will be voicing the nominee VCRs this year. He stated that compared to the nervousness of being a nominee, participating as a voice-over artist is a great honor. He hopes his voice can become a sincere blessing to the nominees and encourage all musicians on their journey to participate in this grand event for years to come.
Also lending their voices to the VCRs are Dai Xiao-jun, rap king Lü Shih-hsuan, and Taiwanese Hokkien queen Li Chu-hsin. Li, who stunned the music world with her "French-style Taiwanese Hokkien," has raised anticipation for how she will use her distinctive voice in the narration. Next-generation host Mu Mu, praised for her quick wit at the Golden Bell Awards, will take on the important role of advertising host. She said, "I am deeply honored and will do my utmost to serve all the superstars with what I do best."
The 37th Golden Melody Awards ceremony will be held on the 27th at the Taipei Arena. TTV will broadcast the red carpet starting at 5 p.m. and the awards ceremony at 7 p.m. Viewers can also watch the live stream on LINE TODAY and LINE MUSIC. (Editor: Chang Ming-kun) 1150609
