Nantou Chocolate & Coffee Festival Debuts June 19: Over 100 Brands, Evening Shows, Fireworks

In addition to gathering over a hundred chocolate and coffee brands, the event features a thousand-person coffee experience, a street parade, themed evening parties, a fireworks show, and other rich activities. It also incorporates a digital stamp rally to encourage visitors to extend their trip from the venue to various townships for in-depth tourism.

The 'Nantou Chocolate & Coffee Festival' will be held from the 19th to the 28th at the Fuxing Hot Spring Area in Puli Township. The Nantou County Government held a promotional event today at Taipei Songshan Station. Nantou Deputy County Magistrate Wang Rui-De attended and stated that this year's theme is 'Coffee & Chocolate Heart.' The event brings together over a hundred chocolate, coffee, and specialty souvenir brands, along with a thousand-person coffee experience, a street parade carnival, 4 evening parties, and 3 fireworks shows.

Wang said that Nantou has representative coffee-producing regions and a high-quality cocoa industry, producing world-class specialty coffee and cultivating many chocolate brands recognized by the market. He thanked the Tourism Administration, Ministry of Transportation and Communications for its annual subsidies. This year, being selected for the 'Taiwan Tourism Biennial Calendar' has led to expanded subsidies to deepen the quality of the experience. The event has also been recognized by industry, government, and academia, becoming one of Nantou's important tourism brands.

Wang stated that the scale of this year's event has reached a new high, bringing together a hundred brands. It also incorporates the popular IP 'Overreacting Cat' to create themed lighting installations, music evening parties, street parades, and nighttime fireworks, offering rich content that allows visitors to enjoy from day to night, deeply experiencing Nantou's industrial characteristics and tourism appeal, while generating greater benefits for local accommodations, shopping districts, and surrounding attractions.

The county government stated that on the 19th, 20th, and 27th, there will be a thousand-person coffee experience theme day in collaboration with well-known businesses. Street parades will be held on the 19th and 27th. Themed evening parties will take place on the 19th, 20th, 21st, and 27th. Fireworks shows are scheduled for the 19th, 20th, and 27th. The Nantou Chocolate & Coffee Festival is also partnering with numerous brands to launch co-branded products and limited collaboration projects, gathering specialty coffee, specialty chocolates, and popular souvenirs.
