University Application Admission Results for 54,340 Places to Be Announced on June 11

(CNA, Taipei, June 10, by reporter Hsu Chih-wei) For the 115th academic year, the university application-based admission channel has 54,340 available places. The total number of admissions from all universities (including regular and waitlisted candidates) reached 124,629. Among them, 49,425 students were eligible to register their preference order, with the unified distribution results to be announced starting at 9 AM on June 11.

According to a press release from the College Admission Committee for College-bound Seniors (CAC), the second-stage designated item screening for the 115th academic year's application-based admission was held from May 14 to 31. Universities announced their admission results by June 1. As students may be accepted by multiple departments, those who received regular or waitlisted offers were required to register their preference order online from June 4 to 5 to participate in the unified distribution.

The CAC data shows that for the 115th academic year, there were 54,340 places available for application-based admission, with 78,280 applicants. The total number of admissions (including regular and waitlisted) was 124,629, with 49,425 students eligible to register their preference order.

Admitted students who are accepted by multiple departments will be placed according to their registered preference order. If a regular admission preference is ranked higher than a waitlisted one, the regular admission will be prioritized. If a waitlisted preference is ranked higher and there is a vacancy, the student will be moved up from the waitlist. If a tie in waitlist ranking causes the number of admissions to exceed the original enrollment quota, the quota will be increased.

The College Admission Committee for College-bound Seniors will announce the unified distribution results for the 115th academic year's application-based admission on its website (https://www.cac.edu.tw/) starting at 9 AM on June 11. Admitted students who have doubts about the distribution result may apply for a review online before 12 PM on June 12.
