Following a home run the previous day, he hit two doubles in today's game. However, the Seibu Lions lost 3-6 to the Yomiuri Giants' farm team.

Lin started the game as the fifth batter and left fielder. In his first at-bat in the top of the second inning, with one out, he hit a double to center field. He later scored on a teammate's single. In the top of the fourth inning, as the leadoff batter, he hit another double to center field, but Seibu failed to score that inning.

Lin drew a walk in the sixth inning and flied out to center field in the ninth inning. He finished the game with 2 hits in 3 at-bats, both doubles, raising his batting average from .200 before the game to .261.

Seibu scored one run each in the second and third innings. The Giants tied the game with two runs in the bottom of the sixth and added more runs in the seventh and eighth innings to take a four-run lead.
