According to a report by Central News Agency (CNA) reporter Chang Hsiung-feng from Taipei on the 10th, the Central Weather Administration updated its heavy rain advisory at noon. Due to a stationary front gradually moving southward to the Bashi Channel, there is a potential for short-duration, intense rainfall. Heavy rain has already occurred in Taitung County and the Hengchun Peninsula. Localized heavy rain is expected in the Keelung North Coast, eastern and southern regions, and mountainous areas in central Taiwan.

The Central Weather Administration stated that the areas under the heavy rain advisory include Keelung City, the North Coast, Taichung City's mountainous areas, Nantou County's mountainous areas, Yunlin County's mountainous areas, Chiayi County's mountainous areas, Tainan City, Kaohsiung City, Pingtung County, the Hengchun Peninsula, Yilan County, Hualien County, and Taitung County.

The administration warned that the heavy rain is expected to last through the 11th. It advised the public to be cautious of lightning and strong winds, and to guard against flooding in low-lying areas. Due to continuous rainfall, there remains a risk of landslides, falling rocks, and mudslides in mountainous areas.
