(Central News Agency, Penghu County, June 10) The Penghu County Police Bureau held its Police Day celebration in advance today. Deputy Magistrate Lin Jie-shing presented awards to model police officers and encouraged all officers to dedicate themselves fully to maintaining local public order and other areas of service, guided by the 'Three Goods': 'Good Equipment, Good Health, and Good Energy.'
The Police Day celebration was held this afternoon in the second-floor auditorium of the police bureau. Attendees included Deputy Magistrate Lin Jie-shing, Penghu District Prosecutors Office Chief Prosecutor Wu Yi-ming, and Police Bureau Chief Lin Shu-guo. Awards were presented to this year's model police officers and outstanding officers.
Lin stated that police officers shoulder the critical responsibilities of maintaining social order, ensuring traffic safety, and promoting public service. He expressed high recognition for their outstanding performance and selfless dedication, noting that they have stood guard day and night to protect the lives and property of the people. He particularly highlighted that during the ongoing Penghu International Fireworks Festival, a large number of police officers have been deployed to manage traffic, security, and public services, creating a stable and smooth environment that allows visitors to experience Penghu's warmth and safety.
Lin urged all officers to embody the 'Three Goods'—good equipment, good health, and good energy—to fully engage in all areas of local security and service, ensuring Penghu remains the county with the highest public satisfaction regarding public safety.
During the ceremony, model officers Ou Bing-feng and Lin Jun-fa were recognized, along with 27 other individuals including long-serving outstanding police officers, exemplary officers, auxiliary police, and volunteers.
