TAIPEI (Central News Agency, June 10) According to the MLB official website's transaction log, the Pittsburgh Pirates announced today that they have signed international free agent Lin Chun-Hsi to a minor league contract, making him the second player from Daxi High School to pursue a career abroad.

Lin, a two-way player (pitcher and hitter), has set his sights on playing overseas. In the 2025 High School Baseball League (Wood Bat Group), he hit two home runs and won the Home Run Award. He was also selected for the 2025 U18 World Cup national team, where he pitched in 4 games, throwing 5.1 scoreless innings with 8 strikeouts.
