Taipei, June 11 (CNA reporter Chang Hsiung-feng) The Central Weather Administration updated its heavy rain advisory this morning. Due to active convective cloud development, short-duration heavy rainfall is expected. Areas from Chiayi to Kaohsiung and mountainous areas from Taichung to Yunlin are at risk of localized heavy rain. The public is advised to beware of lightning, strong gusts, landslides, falling rocks, and rising river levels in mountainous areas, as well as flooding in low-lying areas.
