(Central News Agency, Taipei, June 12) The Central Weather Administration issued a heavy rain advisory this morning. Due to the influence of a frontal system, short-duration heavy rainfall is likely. Kaohsiung City and Pingtung County may experience localized heavy rain or torrential rain. There is a probability of localized heavy rain in the Tainan area, areas south of Hsinchu, and the mountainous regions of Yilan and Hualien.
