(Central News Agency, Taipei, June 12) The Central Weather Administration issued a heavy rain advisory. Due to the influence of a frontal system, short-duration heavy rainfall is likely. Today, localized heavy rain or extremely heavy rain is expected in Yunlin County, Chiayi County, Chiayi City, Tainan City, Kaohsiung City, and Pingtung County. Localized heavy rain is possible in the Nantou area, and the mountainous areas of Hsinchu to Taichung, Yilan, and Hualien.
