As of 5:30 PM, the city government had received 91 disaster reports, 75 of which were due to instantaneous flooding caused by short-duration heavy rainfall. Among these, one man was trapped in a residential building on Lane 600, Wuxing Street, but has since been rescued.

The Taipei City Government released information stating that as of 5:30 PM, the Taipei City Disaster Prevention and Relief Office had received 91 disaster reports. 75 of these were related to instantaneous flooding caused by short-duration heavy rainfall and are being processed.

The Xinyi Precinct of the Taipei City Police Department issued a press release stating that around 4 PM, they received a report of residential flooding in the vicinity of Lane 600, Wuxing Street, Xinyi District, due to instantaneous heavy rainfall, with a resident trapped inside. Police immediately responded with firefighters.

Upon arrival, police coordinated with firefighters to implement traffic control and diversion. After firefighters broke down the door and entered the residence, they successfully rescued a 44-year-old man. Paramedics assessed the man, who was conscious and showed no obvious external injuries. No one else was injured at the scene.

The police stated that during heavy rainfall, if you encounter flooding or other emergencies, please evacuate dangerous areas as soon as possible and immediately call 110 or 119 for assistance to ensure your safety. (Editor: Hsiao Po-wen) 1150618
