(Zurich, June 18, CNA Foreign News) The Swiss Foreign Ministry confirmed today that following the signing of an agreement between the United States and Iran to end the Middle East war, Washington and Tehran plan to hold preliminary talks tomorrow at a resort in Bürgenstock, Switzerland, to discuss the implementation of the agreement.

Reuters reported that the Swiss Foreign Ministry stated in a release that, according to current plans, the United States, Iran, and mediators Pakistan and Qatar still plan to commence preliminary talks tomorrow in Bürgenstock to discuss how to fulfill the agreement.

The latest statement from the Swiss Foreign Ministry removed the previous mention that "other relevant countries" would also attend the meeting.
