(Central News Agency, reporter Chang Jung-hsiang, Tainan, June 20) Two small trucks allegedly collided and subsequently overturned down the outer embankment on National Highway 3 in Tainan's Xinhua section last night, resulting in one driver being injured and sent to the hospital. The cause of the accident is under investigation.
The Eighth Highway Police Brigade of the National Freeway Bureau stated today that around 11 p.m. last night, two small trucks were involved in a suspected collision at kilometer marker 348.9 northbound on National Highway 3 in Tainan's Xinhua section. Both vehicles subsequently overturned down the outer embankment. One driver extricated themselves without injury, while the other driver was injured and sent to the hospital.
