(CNA, reporter Wang Chaoyu, New Taipei, June 21) Mr. Jiang, who went fishing with friends on the coast of Ruifang, New Taipei City yesterday and stayed overnight in a car, was found missing by his friend early this morning. The friend found Mr. Jiang's slippers on the rocks, and the Coast Guard found a body off Badouzi at noon. The family is on their way to identify the body.

Police investigation revealed that Mr. Pan (67), Mr. Zeng (52), and Mr. Jiang (62) went fishing together yesterday at the rocky area by the coast near kilometer 84 of Provincial Highway 2 in Ruifang District. They stayed overnight in the self-driving car. Mr. Pan woke up around 4 AM today and found Mr. Jiang missing. After searching the surrounding area, he found Mr. Jiang's slippers on the rocks.

Mr. Pan reported to the relevant authorities at 9:15 AM requesting assistance in the search. The Coast Guard and Fire Department immediately dispatched personnel to search the surrounding waters and coastline. At around 12 PM, the Coast Guard found a male body off Badouzi. The body has been retrieved and brought aboard a vessel, and is being taken back to Badouzi Fishing Harbor. The family is rushing to the fishing harbor to identify the deceased.
