(CNA News) - The LPGA Meijer Classic concluded its third round today. Taiwanese golfer Hsu Wei-ling shot a 4-under-par 68, with 7 birdies and 3 bogeys, to tie for 4th place with a 3-day total of 206. She is only 4 shots behind the leader and has a chance to challenge for her first win of the year.

The LPGA Meijer Classic, with a total prize money of $3.25 million (approximately NT$102 million), is being held in Michigan, USA. Taiwan has three participants: Yani Tseng, Hsu Wei-ling, and Cheng Ssu-chia. However, only Hsu Wei-ling advanced to the final rounds.

On the third round, known as "moving day," the qualified golfers all put in their best effort to make birdies and improve their rankings. Hsu Wei-ling, starting from the first hole, was in excellent form, making 5 birdies with no errors in the front nine, which temporarily propelled her into the top 3.
