July Electronic and Financial Futures Both Fall

(CNA Taipei, June 23) The Taiwan Stock Exchange today fell 640.86 points, closing at 47100.65 points. The July electronic futures closed at 3078.35 points, down 64.4 points, with a positive premium of 35.32 points; the July financial futures closed at 3206.6 points, down 2.8 points, with a negative premium of 16.37 points.

The July electronic futures closed at 3078.35 points, down 64.4 points, with 263 contracts traded. The August electronic futures closed at 3110 points, down 37.15 points, with 3 contracts traded.

The electronic spot market closed at 3043.03 points, down 46.74 points; compared to the July electronic futures, the positive premium was 35.32 points.

The July financial futures closed at 3206.6 points, down 2.8 points, with 475 contracts traded. The August financial futures closed at 3222.6 points, up 18.8 points, with 1 contract traded.

The financial spot market closed at 3222.97 points, up 11.72 points; compared to the July financial futures, the negative premium was 16.37 points. The actual closing price is subject to the announcement by the Futures Exchange. 1150623
