(CNA) Taipei, June 24 - Media reports have stated that the founder of the "Uniform Map" website, accused of illegally using photos of underage students, was responsible for developing the website for Taipei mayoral candidate Shen Po-yang. In response, Shen Po-yang's campaign office stated today that they do not know the individual in question and that the official campaign website was developed under the coordination of Hung Chin-chi.

Weekly King reported that "Uniform Map" extensively used photos of underage students without permission, involving voyeurism, with over a thousand victims. The website's founder, Chiang Shun-chih, was investigated under copyright law, criminal law for obstructing public morals, and personal information protection law, but was ultimately not indicted. The report also claimed that Chiang developed websites such as "puma.taipei" and referred to Shen Po-yang as the big boss.

Shen Po-yang's campaign office, a candidate for the Democratic Progressive Party in the Taipei mayoral election, issued a press release today stating that the official campaign website was developed under the coordination of Hung Chin-chi of "Dream Eater Black Tapir." Shen Po-yang does not know Chiang Shun-chih, while Hung Chin-chi has long been involved in data mining and social media data, and is bringing the collaborative spirit of civic technology into the election campaign.

The campaign office emphasized that the official campaign website was developed under the coordination of Hung Chin-chi, who assembled a cross-disciplinary team of civic engineers. Shen Po-yang knows Hung Chin-chi personally and has no acquaintance with the engineer Chiang Shun-chih mentioned in the report.

The campaign office explained that Hung Chin-chi is a veteran full-stack engineer in Taiwan's internet circle, known online as "Dream Eater Black Tapir." He is the founder of "Blog Observation" and previously served as a manager at PChome. He has also acted as a technical consultant for several internet companies and later founded the social research website "Page Dashboard," which digitizes the volume and performance of fan pages based on discussion counts.
