(CNA, Taipei, June 24) - Founded in 1973 as a night market food cart on Jiguang Street in Taichung, Xiang Ji Guang Group, which operates brands like "Jiguang Xiang Xiang Ji," will be listed on the emerging stock market on June 26th at a reference price of NT$84 per share. Xiang Ji Guang currently has approximately 400 stores globally. Future expansion in Taiwan will focus on transportation hubs and department stores, while the Chinese market will expand to second and third-tier cities.
Xiang Ji Guang held a corporate briefing prior to its listing today. It is scheduled to be listed on the emerging stock market on June 26th at a reference price of NT$84 per share. Its proprietary brands include "Jiguang Xiang Xiang Ji," among others, and it also represents Japanese dining brands such as "Kaneko Hannosuke." The product line covers Taiwanese fried chicken, Taiwanese cuisine, tendon bowls, seafood bowls, and grilled eel rice.
Huang Zhi-xiong, Vice Chairman of Xiang Ji Guang, stated that in 1973, the elder generation started with the "Xiang Xiang Fried Chicken" night market food cart on Jiguang Street in Taichung City's Central District. After half a century of development, it has now entered many important commercial districts and department store locations, becoming an international chain restaurant group with over 400 stores worldwide.
As of June 2026, Xiang Ji Guang Group's proprietary brands "Jiguang Xiang Xiang Ji" and "Mei Bi Taiwanese Cuisine Restaurant" will have a total of approximately 400 stores globally, expanding its international presence through a combination of direct operations, franchising, and agency models. Core locations are primarily in China with 312 stores and Taiwan with 84 stores, in addition to 3 in Hong Kong, 4 in the Philippines, 4 in Indonesia, 3 in Canada, 2 in the United States, and 1 in Melbourne, Australia.
Regarding agency brands, Xiang Ji Guang Group currently has 8 stores in Taiwan, including 7 "Kaneko Hannosuke" and 1 "Nihonbashi Seafood Don." These are located in department stores such as Breeze Xinyi and Shin Kong Mitsukoshi.
Regarding future expansion plans, Huang Zhi-xiong indicated that the Taiwanese market is nearing maturity, and future expansion will focus on transportation hubs and department stores. In China, the company will deepen its presence in first-tier cities and will expand to second and third-tier cities in the future. The Southeast Asia to Oceania front will target the demographic dividend of the Chinese population. In the North American market, the goal is to penetrate the mainstream and accelerate regional franchise expansion.
In terms of revenue structure, Xiang Ji Guang reported that its consolidated revenue for 2025 was NT$1.694 billion, with restaurant revenue accounting for NT$1.082 billion, or 63.87%, making it the primary source of revenue. Revenue from merchandise sales, ingredient supply to franchisees, franchise fees, royalties, and operational management fees amounted to NT$612 million, representing 36.13%.
Xiang Ji Guang's revenue for 2023, 2024, and 2025 was NT$1.648 billion, NT$1.562 billion, and NT$1.694 billion, respectively. Net profit after tax was NT$134 million, NT$133 million, and NT$131 million, with earnings per share of NT$5.51, NT$5.76, and NT$4.98, respectively. For the first five months of 2026, preliminary revenue was NT$717 million, net profit after tax was NT$52.41 million, and earnings per share were NT$1.92.
Chairman Huang Hong-wei stated that Xiang Ji Guang's competitive advantages lie in its complete supply chain, food safety control, and digital operations. The company has established central factories and uses digital technology to improve the efficiency of store replication. In 2025, total customer traffic exceeded 15.5 million, with over 1.5 million members and more than 1.05 million social media followers. The core customer base covers takeaway convenience, department store shoppers, family gatherings, franchisees, and overseas agency markets.
Huang Hong-wei further pointed out that Xiang Ji Guang will continue to cultivate the Taiwanese market, strengthening its presence in department stores, street-level locations, and takeaway points. Simultaneously, it will leverage the Chinese and overseas Chinese markets as growth engines, promoting the scaling of its proprietary brands and the expansion of its agency brands.
