(CNA, reporter Zeng Renkai, Taipei, June 30) Server slide rail manufacturer Chuan Hu reported an after-tax net profit of NT$103.23 per share last year, a substantial profit of 10 billion NT dollars. Chuan Hu held its shareholders' meeting today and approved a cash dividend of NT$51 per share, a new historical high.

Wang Junqiang, Executive Vice President and Spokesperson for Chuan Hu, maintained his unchanged outlook on operations today, believing that the AI industry continues to develop positively. Chuan Hu's operations this year are expected to be "difficult to underestimate," with revenue anticipated to grow quarter by quarter, maintaining double-digit year-on-year growth for the full year.

In its business report, Chuan Hu stated that with the vigorous development of AI applications, including related products for ASICs (Application-Specific Integrated Circuits) and GPUs (Graphics Processing Units), the demand for innovative designs in guide rails is greater than ever. The speed of product launches and replacements is also very fast. Chuan Hu's accumulated technical expertise, R&D strength, and patent portfolio over many years enable it to meet demands quickly and flexibly. Especially, new entrants in AI applications are increasingly reliant on Chuan Hu's innovative products and technologies, which will continue to expand into different markets and customers, with future growth prospects being highly anticipated.

Wang Junqiang added that AI demand is strong and the market is constantly growing. In addition to GPUs dominated by NVIDIA, the markets for CPUs (Central Processing Units) and TPUs (Tensor Processing Units) are also emerging. Chuan Hu has been investing in the server slide rail field for 20 years and has excellent customer relationships, with many orders gradually coming to fruition.

In the first quarter of this year, Chuan Hu's net profit attributable to the parent company was NT$3.485 billion, a decrease of 0.8% quarter-on-quarter and an increase of 38.7% year-on-year. The earnings per share for the quarter reached NT$36.58, showing a strong performance even in the off-season, making it the second-highest in history. Wang Junqiang had previously predicted that Chuan Hu's operations in the second quarter would continue to be "bustling." (Editor: Lin Jiaxian) 1150630
