MediaTek's average annual salary for non-managerial employees ranked first for the 5th consecutive year last year, TSMC ranked 3rd

(CNA Reporter Tseng Jen-kai Taipei June 30) The Taiwan Stock Exchange today announced the statistics for "full-time employees not holding managerial positions' salaries" of domestic listed companies in 2025. MediaTek's average annual salary for non-managerial full-time employees was NT$4.465 million last year, an increase of 3.6% year-on-year, ranking first for the 5th consecutive year.

TSMC, the "mountain guarding the nation," had an average annual salary of NT$4.072 million for its non-managerial employees in 2025, an increase of 20% year-on-year, rising from 7th place in 2024 to 3rd place.

There were a total of 8 listed companies with an average annual salary of over NT$3 million for non-managerial employees last year. In addition to MediaTek and TSMC, Phison ranked 2nd with NT$4.281 million. The 4th to 8th places were Realtek with NT$3.871 million, DFI with NT$3.533 million, Hon Hai Precision Industry with NT$3.280 million, Novatek with NT$3.246 million, and GUC with NT$3.180 million.

It is worth noting that the top 10 companies in the 2025 ranking of average salaries for non-managerial employees are all from the semiconductor industry.

In addition, in terms of median salary, MediaTek remained in the first place for the median salary of non-managerial full-time employees last year, with an amount of NT$3.552 million, followed by Phison with NT$3.374 million and Realtek with NT$3.193 million.
