In addition, the Shanghai Catholic Patriotic Association organized local Catholics to watch the broadcast, with participants reportedly saying they were moved by the "fighting spirit" conveyed by the ceremony and deeply agreed that "only under the leadership of the Chinese Communist Party can the nation prosper and develop, the people live and work in peace and contentment, and religious undertakings develop healthily in the correct direction."
The Wudang Mountain Taoist Academy held a flag-raising ceremony for the five-starred red flag and concentrated on watching the live broadcast, vowing to "listen to the Party and follow the Party."
The Party branch of the China Buddhist Academy organized all teachers, students, staff, and employees at the Fayuan Temple in Beijing and the Fenghuangling campus to watch the live broadcast together.
