(Central News Agency, reporter Zhang Qian, Hong Kong, July 2) Two PLA warships arrived in Hong Kong today for a 5-day visit. During their stay, they will be open for public tours, but with limited numbers. According to available data, this marks the 11th visit by PLA vessels to Hong Kong.

The PLA fleet visiting Hong Kong comprises the missile destroyer Nanning, hull number 162, and the missile frigate Hengyang, hull number 568. The two warships entered Victoria Harbour around 8 a.m. and docked at the PLA's Stonecutters Island naval base in Hong Kong.

The PLA, through the Hong Kong government, announced that the naval fleet composed of the Nanning and Hengyang will visit Hong Kong from July 2 to July 6, during which a series of public tours and cultural exchange activities will be organized.

According to online information, this is the 11th visit by a PLA fleet to Hong Kong. The first visit by PLA vessels was in 2001. Subsequently, the aircraft carrier Liaoning fleet and the Shandong fleet visited Hong Kong in 2017 and 2025, respectively, attracting many military enthusiasts to follow and photograph them.
