(CNA Taipei, July 2nd) The China Securities Regulatory Commission (CSRC) announced today its approval for Unitree Robotics to conduct its Initial Public Offering (IPO) in Shanghai. Unitree Robotics is a well-known technology company in China specializing in the research, development, and production of civil robots.
According to information released on the CSRC website today, the commission agreed on the 1st to the registration application for Unitree Robotics, headquartered in Hangzhou, to conduct its initial public offering of stocks on the Shanghai Stock Exchange and list on the STAR Market. The approval is valid for 12 months. This means Unitree Robotics is one step away from officially listing on the A-share market.
Unitree Robotics actively promoted its listing plan starting in 2025, first completing its shareholding system reform in May of that year, transforming from a limited liability company to a joint-stock company; it then initiated listing guidance in July of the same year, with CITIC Securities serving as the guidance institution, officially commencing IPO preparations.
