(CNA Reporter Chung Jung-feng Taipei, July 6) Taiwan's leading motion control component manufacturer, Hiwin, announced this afternoon that its consolidated revenue for June was NT$2.554 billion, an increase of 2.98% month-on-month and 31.62% year-on-year, reaching a high point since September 2022. The consolidated revenue for the second quarter was NT$7.508 billion, a 17.7% increase quarter-on-quarter, marking the highest point since the fourth quarter of 2022. First-half revenue reached NT$13.887 billion, an 18.05% increase year-on-year.

Hiwin previously stated that it continues to benefit from strong demand for motion control components driven by automation, semiconductor, and artificial intelligence (AI) related application equipment and infrastructure.

Looking ahead to the second half of the year, Hiwin previously assessed that operations could be better than the first half. The company expects its revenue and profit targets for this year to grow compared to 2025.
