The county government stated that the Boluowen Drainage and Fenjiwo Drainage in Hukou Township had their revetments damaged by recent rainfall. The Public Works Department has placed concrete blocks at four severely damaged breach points and has approved the use of approximately NT$32.85 million from the second reserve fund for repairs.

Regarding water conservancy facilities, the county government indicated that inspections have been completed for one county-managed river and 66 regional drainage systems. The county's water level stations, flood sensors, water pumps, and sluice gates have all been inspected and are functioning normally.

The county government also stated that the typhoon and disaster relief equipment for all major brigades and detachments, including lifeboats, life jackets, personal watercraft, water pumps, and various types of disaster relief vehicles, have undergone inspection and operational testing. For disaster-prone areas such as mountainous regions and coastal areas, communication with township offices and debris flow warning zones has been strengthened, and precautionary evacuation will be coordinated if necessary.
