Xi Jinping Sends Congratulatory Message to Trump on 250th Anniversary of US Independence

(CNA Taipei, July 6) - Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Mao Ning said today that this year marks the 250th anniversary of American independence, and Chinese President Xi Jinping has sent a congratulatory message to US President Trump.

The Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs held a regular press conference this afternoon, where Mao Ning stated that Xi Jinping has conveyed congratulations to Trump on behalf of the Chinese government and the Chinese people.
