(Central News Agency Reporter Tseng Jen-kai Taipei July 7th) Heatsink manufacturer Jien-Chuan today announced its June revenue of NT$2.649 billion, an increase of 14.5% month-on-month and 57.64% year-on-year, setting a new record for monthly revenue.

Jien-Chuan's second-quarter revenue was NT$7.274 billion, an increase of 37.1% quarter-on-quarter and 40.39% year-on-year, both setting new records. Accumulated revenue for the first half of the year was NT$12.579 billion, an increase of 26.64% year-on-year.

Jien-Chuan noted in its announcement that the record-high June revenue was mainly due to increased customer demand.

AI servers consume a large amount of electricity, leading to heat dissipation problems. NVIDIA has taken the lead in introducing heat dissipation technologies such as "Micro Channel Liquid Cold Plates" (MLCP), and Jien-Chuan has become a major supplier. Jien-Chuan previously stated that benefiting from the gradual increase in shipments of the new generation AI platform, demand for high-end heatsinks, lead frames, and other products continues to rise, and the outlook for the second half of the year is optimistic.

Although NVIDIA previously changed the heatsink solution for Vera Rubin from a two-piece design to a one-piece design, causing Jien-Chuan's stock price to fall sharply. Jien-Chuan explained that the one-piece design is a transitional solution, and the overall industry trend is still moving towards a two-piece design. (Editor: Yang Kai-hsiang) 1150707
