Chunghwa Precision Technology's June Revenue Surges 98% Year-on-Year, Exceeding NT$3 Billion for the First Time

(CNA, reporter Zeng Renkai, Taipei, July 7) Server chassis manufacturer Chunghwa Precision Technology (CPT) announced today that its June revenue reached NT$3.237 billion, an increase of 28.6% month-on-month and 98.03% year-on-year. This marks the first time the company's monthly revenue has surpassed the NT$3 billion mark, exceeding its previous historical high of NT$2.71 billion set in December last year and setting a new record.

CPT's revenue for the second quarter was NT$7.821 billion, a 43.7% increase year-on-year and a 10% increase from the first quarter, continuing to set a new historical high for quarterly revenue. Cumulatively, CPT's revenue for the first half of this year reached NT$14.928 billion, a 55.56% increase year-on-year.

In its announcement, CPT specifically noted that the strong growth in revenue is primarily due to the large-scale shipment of products required by end customers.

CPT CEO Chen Ya-nan stated at a recent investor conference that AI momentum continues to be strong, and this wave is not a cyclical upturn but an industrial generational restructuring, with no risk of a bubble. With the massive construction of AI data centers, CPT's server chassis shipments are increasing, and the company expects its operations to continue to trend upwards quarter by quarter this year.

Furthermore, Chen Ya-nan mentioned that AI is driving changes in data center architecture, shifting from a traditional "single unit" mindset to a "system" mindset. CPT is also expanding from its original server chassis business into the cabinet market, having already secured liquid-cooled cabinet projects from two major North American CSPs (Cloud Service Providers).
