An 85-year-old woman surnamed Xie was injured in her right leg by the front left wheel and sent to the hospital. The Xihu Precinct of the Changhua County Police Bureau stated that they have accepted the case according to relevant procedures and will clarify the exact cause and responsibility.

The Changhua County Fire Bureau received the report around 7 p.m. yesterday and immediately dispatched personnel and vehicles to the scene. Upon assessment, it was found that the woman was lying on her side under the front tire of the vehicle, not pinned, and was conscious when sent to the hospital for treatment. She was diagnosed with fractures of the pelvis and right femur.

The Xihu Precinct stated that last night, a large bus collided with a woman walking across the station's plaza as it was preparing to pick up passengers, causing the woman's right leg to be crushed by the front left wheel. The driver, surnamed Chen, was not injured and had a blood alcohol content of 0.

Police explained that because the incident occurred within the bus station, it is considered a non-road traffic accident. The case has been accepted according to relevant procedures, and a police report certificate has been issued.
