New Drama "Jin Lai Hao!" Adapted from "Itaewon Class" Features Eric Chou as Lead and Theme Song Composer

(CNA reporter Hong Su-jin, Taipei, July 7) The drama "Jin Lai Hao!" is adapted from the popular Korean comic "Itaewon Class" and stars Eric Chou and Yuan Li Lin. The ending theme song for this series is also composed and sung by Eric Chou. Eric Chou, who is venturing into acting, said filming is tiring but he likes this breakthrough version of himself.

"Jin Lai Hao!" tells the story of the male protagonist, Eric Chou, embarking on a journey to uncover the truth behind his father's tragic death, while fighting alongside his friends to save the family restaurant, "Jin Lai Hao." According to a press release, this is Eric Chou's first time taking on a leading role in a drama. He will be acting alongside Huang Kuan-chih, Lin Szu-yu, Wu Ssu-hsien, and others. The drama is set to premiere on the 31st.

Speaking about filming, Eric Chou said in an interview that he is looking forward to this transformed version of himself, feeling like he's seeing a "never-before-seen Eric Chou." He also likes this breakthrough, although the filming has disrupted his biological clock due to exhaustion. "But it's truly fulfilling, wanting to surpass myself every day."
