Xiangji Company used the problematic oil to process and produce Sichuan peppercorn oil and other sauces. The business has cooperated with the precautionary recall.

The Department of Health issued a press release stating that the Food and Drug Administration updated the list of downstream businesses affected by the problematic cooking oil on July 6. New Taipei City added 14 businesses, and the Department of Health dispatched personnel to investigate. Among them, Xiangji Company used the problematic oil to process and produce Sichuan peppercorn oil and other sauces. The business has cooperated with the precautionary recall.

The Department of Health stated that it continues to investigate the flow of Zhonglian problematic cooking oil. For any processed products containing the problematic oil, regardless of the proportion, businesses are required to stop using it and cooperate with the precautionary recall, in order to protect the health of citizens with strict food safety standards.
