Advantech's June Revenue Surpasses NT$10 Billion to New High, Customer Orders Remain Strong

(CNA, Reporter Wu Chia-hao, Taipei, July 7) Industrial computer manufacturer Advantech announced today that its consolidated revenue for June was approximately NT$10.123 billion, an increase of 30.9% month-on-month and 73.4% year-on-year, setting a new single-month record. Consolidated revenue for the second quarter was approximately NT$26.126 billion, an increase of 28.2% quarter-on-quarter and 46.5% year-on-year, marking a new quarterly high.

Advantech's CFO and General Manager of Integrated Management, Chen Ching-hsi, stated in a press release that despite recent challenges such as supply chain tightness and fluctuations in raw material costs, the company benefited from the accelerated adoption of edge artificial intelligence (AI) applications, leading to continued strong customer order momentum.

Chen Ching-hsi said that based on the Book-to-Bill Ratio (B/B ratio), Advantech's overall and regional B/B ratios remain at high levels, reflecting stable end-market demand momentum in major markets and an optimistic overall business outlook.

By region, Advantech's June revenue showed strong performance in North America, Europe, China, Taiwan, Japan, South Korea, and emerging markets, with year-on-year increases of 59%, 92%, 81%, 91%, 26%, 53%, and 41%, respectively.

In terms of business groups, Advantech's Intelligent Systems, IoT Automation, and Intelligent Services business groups all achieved double-digit growth in June, with year-on-year increases of 62%, 13%, and 11%, respectively. The Embedded business group saw an overall year-on-year increase of 72%, with embedded computing and peripheral systems growing by 1.04 times.
