Synnex June Revenue Hits New High of NT$76.4 Billion, Q2 First Time Exceeds NT$200 Billion

(CNA) Synnex announced today that its June revenue reached NT$76.4 billion, a year-on-year increase of 135%, continuing to set a new record for monthly revenue. Overall Q2 revenue surpassed the NT$200 billion mark for the first time, reaching NT$201.3 billion, a year-on-year increase of 1.16 times and a quarter-on-quarter increase of 59%, setting a new record for quarterly revenue.

Synnex's cumulative revenue for the first half of the year was NT$327.7 billion, a year-on-year increase of 77%, marking a new high for the same period in history.

Synnex explained that the growth in June revenue was mainly due to the continued increase in demand for AI infrastructure, enterprise digital transformation, and semiconductors. Commercial value-added, semiconductor, IT consumer, and communication businesses increased by 137%, 227%, 37%, and 65% year-on-year, respectively.

In terms of the second quarter, Synnex's commercial value-added and semiconductor businesses increased by 152% and 164% year-on-year, respectively, continuing to maintain triple-digit growth; IT consumer and communication businesses grew by 19% and 46%, respectively.

In terms of regional markets, Synnex's revenue in the Chinese market increased by 110%, 131%, and 98% year-on-year in June, Q2, and the first half of the year, respectively; the Taiwan market also grew by 146%, 111%, and 98%, respectively. Both benefited from the continuous expansion of demand for commercial IT and semiconductors, becoming the two major engines of growth.

Looking ahead to the second half of the year, Synnex stated that with the upgrade of enterprise IT equipment, the continued advancement of AI infrastructure, and the arrival of the traditional tech peak season, commercial value-added and semiconductor businesses are expected to continue to support steady overall operational growth.
